2. High yield rate. The continuous
cold rolling machine rolls the entire steel coil from beginning to end, including the welds of the front and rear coils, under the action of the fully automatic thickness control system to ensure the yield rate. Improve the control of the target tolerance of the reversible
cold rolling mill at the beginning and end of the rolling, and improve the yield rate of the strip steel.
3. Low energy consumption. Compared with the single-machine reversible unit, the
tandem mill rolling saves the configuration of multiple high-power winding and unwinding coilers, and the power consumption is greatly reduced. It saves the user's investment cost and operating cost to the greatest extent, and the loss per ton of steel is reduced to 25% of the reversible unit.
Advantages of tandem cold rolling mill
1. The working roll has a small diameter, a large amount of reduction per pass, and a small rolling force, so the rolling efficiency is high and the energy consumption is low, which can save production time and cost.
2. It can produce extremely thin strips and alloy strips with high rolling difficulty.
3. The working roll is lightweight and can be made of high-hardness special alloy materials economically.
4. Since the dry working roll has no bearings and bearing seats, it is convenient and quick to replace the working roll.
5. The working roll is easy to regrind.
6. An intermediate roll with a taper at the end and axially adjustable is set between the working roll and the support roll, which gives play to the advantages of the plate shape control of the cold rolling reversible rolling mill, that is, it can effectively control the plate shape of the strip. With the different bandwidths, the intermediate roll can be appropriately adjusted axially so that the flat roll part is located on the inner side of the edge of the strip, eliminating the possible harmful effects on the contact surface, avoiding excessive deflection of the working roll, and achieving the purpose of controlling the edge wave, thereby ensuring the smooth rolling of strips with good plate shape quality.
